Our Kenya safari and beach holiday takes you from the elephants of Amboseli, through the wild red-earth landscapes of Tsavo, down to the white sands of Diani Beach on the Indian Ocean. It is the perfect trip for travellers who want an unforgettable safari followed by a few days of real rest.

Itinerary at a Glance
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Morning pick-up in Nairobi and drive south to Amboseli National Park. Lunch at your lodge, then an afternoon game drive with Kilimanjaro on the horizon.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
A sunrise game drive for the clearest mountain views, then a day among the swamps where large elephant herds gather. Climb Observation Hill for a view across the park.
Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West
Drive east into Tsavo West National Park, a land of volcanic hills and lava flows. Visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water attracts hippos and crocodiles, and enjoy an afternoon game drive.
Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East
A morning game drive, then cross into Tsavo East, one of the largest parks in Kenya, famous for its red-dust elephants, wide open plains and the Galana River.
Day 5: Tsavo East to Diani Beach
A final early game drive, then continue to the coast. Arrive at your Diani hotel in the afternoon, swap your safari boots for sandals, and watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean.
Day 6: Free Day at Diani Beach
A day to rest on the beach or by the pool. Add an optional dhow trip to Wasini Island with snorkelling in Kisite Marine Park.
Day 7: Free Day at Diani Beach
Another free day to relax, or try kitesurfing, diving or a visit to the Colobus Conservation centre.
Day 8: Departure
Breakfast and check-out, then transfer to Ukunda airstrip or Moi International Airport, Mombasa, for your onward flight.

Why this route works
Most safaris start and end in Nairobi, which means driving back the way you came. This trip moves in one direction, from Nairobi to the coast, so every day brings new scenery and you finish relaxed on the beach instead of in traffic.

Flights home
You can fly home from Moi International Airport in Mombasa if your airline flies there, or take a short domestic flight from Ukunda back to Nairobi to connect with your international flight. We can book the domestic flight for you.

Is the safari vehicle private?
Yes. Your 4x4 Land Cruiser and driver guide are private to your group for all the safari days and the transfer to Diani.
Are park fees included?
Yes. Entry fees for Amboseli, Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks are included in the package price.
Can I spend more nights on the beach?
Yes. You can add as many beach nights as you like, or swap Diani for Zanzibar. Tell us what you have in mind and we will adjust the quote.
Do I need a visa to visit Kenya?
Most visitors need a Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA), applied for online before travel. Requirements depend on your nationality, so please check the official Kenya eTA portal before you book flights.
How do I pay and confirm my booking?
We confirm your safari with a deposit, with the balance due before your arrival. Payment details and terms are shared with your quote.
